The New Investment Environment in Turkey is published on the dawn of the enactment of the Lagislation within the framework decision of the EU-Turkey Association Council, the effective adaptation of a common customs tariff, and through the liberalization and simplification of the Foreign Trade Regime, introducing new measures to promote capital investments in Turkey.

With contributions from General Director Mr. Enver Güney, of the General Direcorate of Foreign Investment, the Undersecretariat of the Treasury, Mr. Christoph Urban, the General Manager of Simko and YASED Deputy Chairman, Mr. Sedat Eratalar, Senior Partner / Erdikler-Eratalar Audiyors, members of the Arthur Anderson Worldwide Organization, and Mr. Zeki Kurtcu, Tax Partner / DeLoitte & Touche Turkey, The Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu International member firm, The New Investment Environment in Turkey illustrates the advantages of foreign capital investments in Turkey through the privatization and the Build-Operate-Transfer methods, outlines boundaries of the legal framework for foreign capital investments in Turkey, provides guidelines and clarification of procedures in taxation of corporations in addition to providing the new laws regulating the business environment, such as the Law for the Proteciton of Competition and the Law for the Protection of the Consumer.
